New Campus for VanArts – effective July 5th, 2021
VanArts has enjoyed 25 years of excellence in training creative professionals, and for the past 11 years we have enjoyed operating from 570 Dunsmuir Street in the downtown core. But we are now moving into a new era, and a new neighborhood.
Starting Monday, July 5th, the VanArts campus will be on the 4th floor of 333 Terminal Avenue, only two kilometres east of downtown Vancouver and one block from Science World/Main Street Skytrain station.
Olympic Village is also a short walk away, and there are many scenic parks and amenities in the surrounding area. Many of these local attractions have now re-opened after being on hiatus during the pandemic, so there is sure to be plenty of recreational activity nearby for our students to enjoy outside of classes.
A Fresh Space for Future Inspiration
All departments, offices, and classrooms will be together on the same floor, in a contemporary campus space. (The only noted exception will be the photography studio, which will be on the ground floor next door.)
But the news doesn’t stop here — our new home on the 4th floor will be in operation until the end of December 2021. Meanwhile, the 7th floor will be custom-built for us into a modern state-of-the-art campus space, and we will shift everything up there effective January 2022.
Our current students and all incoming students starting in September 2021 and beyond will have much to look forward to, being in a fresh environment to gain inspiration from. Being trained by industry professionals so close to the natural beauty of the city, it will be a great place to be for the next generation of VanArts.
