VanArts Graduate in “Control” of His Career
Congratulations to our own Raja Ghosh, a graduate of our Game Art & Design program, for being a part of the creative team on Control, an action-adventure game by Remedy Entertainment.
Control won in four categories at the 23rd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, including the big win for Action Game of the Year. VanArts graduates worked on six other video game titles nominated at the awards ceremony, held on February 13.
Raja graduated from VanArts in 2017, and began freelancing as a Lead Environment Artist for Rainbowverse, LLP. He has since re-located to Finland, where he works at Remedy Entertainment.
Of his time at VanArts, he shares with us, “The curriculum for Game Art & Design at VanArts is very precise and challenging, which is why it caught my attention. They set very strong foundations, while covering the latest technology and softwares in the industry. The instructors understand each of their students’ strengths and mold them accordingly. I learned immensely from my classmates as well, and it’s great to have such talented and encouraging people around. I thank VanArts for providing me a great year of learning.”
