Columbia Academy at VanArts’ students in Broadcasting for Radio & Television had a special visit today from legendary Canadian broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos (CBC, CNN, MuchMusic). This is George’s third visit to VanArts, and we are always thrilled and delighted to have him back!
On this particular visit, he spent an hour in the studio with our Broadcasting students, chatting with them on the air for a casual Q&A session. They talked together about everything from their families, plans for Christmas and their favorite music to what it’s like working in the broadcasting industry. Their entire conversation was included as part of their regular daily broadcast.
